Jim, I was throwing AVA jigs of various sizes and working them hard off of the bottom. I heard of positive results from some using crippled herring and various plastics. I have a feeling that this may have been my last trip of the season seeing how they may not be feeding too much longer with this weather. Hopefully not the last, but if so i will drink and wait for the shad run!!!

Drinking is OK in America if it is holidays, birthdays, funerals, and all other ceremonies. I make up ceremonies frequently to justify drinking sometimes. For instance; one can say, "today is the only day it will December 18, 2009 EVER". In that case, it is OK it drink at any time you want because it is ceremonial. One can have pizza at anytime, no matter what.

Nice Boner - I wish I could get out there for that action. That sounds like a fucking awesome time. What metal were you throwing? I got the baby lockdown so no fishing fo Jim. I might have a sneak attack opportunity in store later today but it's in the wind at this point. It's def cold out on the shore. Lagoons are frozen so you know its cold. Enjoy the weekend guys and gal! Ben - Pumpin' for the man huh?

supposed to be a cold spell for the next 2 weeks.. So erie should hopefully freeze, which will mean the Niagara river should be clear for the winter.. Best of both worlds.. Ice fishing on erie, and float fishing for trout on the Niagara.. About 1 foot of visibility today, tomorrow should be better..The bite will be ON tomorrow! Hopefully lots of pics to post this weekend.

Erie hasn't frozen over yet I hear so hopefully when I return to Ohio the same will apply.....just remember the Bugatti Ben....1001 horsepower....don't worry ...I'm not like the others
