Skunked again today at Money Hill.. Stupid bass are holeing up out in the deep out of my reach. There are a bunch of old beat up flatboats there. I am almost tempted to bring a trolling motor and "borrow" one for the afternoon. Cant wait for my net to get here. Everyone whos received theirs sounds stoked about 'em.
nice rainbow! I was out again this morning at the little lehigh. landed 3 browns and a rainbow, but the biggest fish was about 11 inches. still had fun. ice on the rod tip sucks. i was popping it out after every cast.
I used to sell this stuff called 'Peak Slather' for keeping ice off ski gear. It's pure silicon gel that is not affected by temperature. I bet it would help all you cold weather fishermen battle ice-up. I still have a bunch if anyone wants to try some get a hold of me. It's in little 1oz. plastic containers. It works great as fly floatant too. I don't mean to keep pushing shit here but I have boxes of this stuff sitting in my shop.

Niagara River is still producing fish. Managed to fish 2 hours this morning in -17 temperatures. Managed 2 nice rainbows, 1 was about 7lbs. I had to suck on my rod tip to keep it from freezing up constantly.. What a faggot!
Got my net from Josh today. After having to go to work on a saturday (I admit is was OT, but still...) it was a welcome sight, like an old friend I just met. Thanks Josh, it is a beauty. I can't believe how light it is.
