It is cold here, ass cold. It dropped down to 10 degrees last night. I watched the Giants/Packers game with Andrew Weiss and Mark Miller, great game. I really wanted to see Favre in the Super Bowl but I have to laugh at the fact that the only Manning in the super bowl isn't named Peyton. Some Brownie Troopers emailed me pictures of my Sunday Sauce recipe that's posted at Ween.com and I'll post them at the end of this rant. I keep failing to mention that the Moistboyz will be keeping the fire alive-- performing gigs (without me) out in Texas and on the West Coast. This was something that I encouraged Guy (Dickie) to do and he has surrounded himself with some good friends and top notch players including Nick Oliveri, Jeff Pinkus, and Bob Lee--all brothers in rock. Do yourself a favor and come out to the shows--the dates are posted at www.moistboyz.com Hopefully when Ween has some time off Guy and I will make time to get together and record Moistboyz V, the world needs us right now. In Ween news, I'm handing over the "gallery" section of ween.com to Aaron. He has been photographing Ween every day through the recording of our new album and tour and has taken some amazing pictures, including those in the collage poster that comes with the new cd. Since we're headed to Australia, New Zealand, Europe and all these other exotic places, there should be some great pictures up there in the very near future. Also, we are considering the idea of holding our own music festival at the end of this summer, somewhere in the vicinity of New Hope with Ween headlining the whole thing. Is this something that you guys would travel for, "WEENSTOCK?" (I know that name is gay-I just couldn't resist saying it. It'll be called something else.) We're taking a close look at all of the outdoor venues, parks, and amphitheaters in the area and we're trying to get a feel for the response it would get. This would most likely be around Labor Day and would mark the end of the one year "La Cucaracha" tour. Anyway, drop me a line if you like and we'll see you out there on tour in 2 days.
