Hey Muskellunge, I'm heading back to Pulaski on apr. 3,4,5,6th. I'll most likely be focusing on the tribs, depending on the water levels! Thinking about heading on lake view drive and seeing what I see. Any trib. recommendations ? I'm all ears!

Muske, Nice take on that steelie a real pig! Also thanks for the tips on the streamers. I've been counting down the days and can't wait any longer! I planned this trip around the new moon time and I'm hoping I get some sunny days to really turn the bite on! Maybe we'll cross paths at sometime and do some fishing! Tight lines!

Thanks muskellunge,

You can get into a decent starter fly fishing rig for under $80.00. Wal-Mart or most super stores have starter kits and any decent sporting goods store should have one as well. Try craigslist or the local Pawn-shop.

Read and watch videos online about casting techniques and you can practice in the front yard or street. That same streamer in that trout's mouth would work for sure. The first fish I ever caught on a fly rod was a young pike. They are very willing takers of a chartreuse bunny-bug.

"You'll only fail at it if you never try" Good luck and happy fishing.

Get a Fly-rod and Jig some Gulp under it just to feel a big fish on a different type rod. I love all types of fishing and have many set-ups: Bait caster, Spinner, Light Fly rod, Heavy fly rod... It is all fun.

Hey Muskey, I'll be heading to pulaski , ny. I'll be there on feb.23 to the 27th, so far its a solo trip for me , so i'm not opposed to some new water. Keep me updated on the hot color, so i kinda know the haps. I fly fish and use a running line setup (chuck and duck)
