as for the carp fishing, the action has died down a bit in the past few weeks. but, I usually play the same hand every time (corn, nightcrawlers and beer)

you go to the dells more often than I do... it's not lake delton is it. thats the lake that broke through its dam in '07. there wont be any big fish in there. and no I don't have much exp. on the wisconsin

Have you been carp fishing yet ? I have family in chicago... try the lakefront and rivers that lead into the lake as well. I think there is a lake michigan carp tournament every september. keep me posted, I'm interested...

on the last set pf pics it wasn't my camera, and i didn't take the pictures but i am damn near positive it's a olympus, the key to the good pics is to set it to a close up or a macro shot, and also crop it tight... an 8 megapixel camera takes a huge pic and for posting you can crop out 75% of the picture, making it look even closer. i'll find out the exact model and let you know soon...

Hey Whalen- either option would be fine. If you just put a threaded eye in it should be fine. Drilling a pilot wouldn't hurt. If you drill through the handle, I'd recommend counter sinking the corners and maybe re-sealing the hole. The net has 3 coats of satin spar-urethane on it. Have you put it to use yet? I'm doing another run of nets and will have about 27 ready to go in a week or two. Fish On!!
